Hello my sisters,

I wanted to let you know that I received a breast cancerdiagnosis last week, and I wanted to ask you all to pray. I can still see God in this, because when I found out, I was in the doctor's office to have a routine physical, and get some paperwork filled out for my job. Had I not gone to the doctor's office that day, the cancer may have sat there for another three months or more, and had time to grow.As it is the tumor that will be removed is less than an inch long. The only drawback is that this type of cancer has the potential to spread, so I will lose at least one set of lymph nodes under my arm. But it is a small price to pay. I am believing God for a comoplete victory in this situation. The surgery is scheduled for September 10th. Please pray for a positive outcome. and please be sure to protect your health by having regular physicals and mammograms! Our bodies are God's temple, and He only gives us one!

Hello Betsy,

As you mentioned, you are still able to see God in your situation. I am a firm believer that if He brings us to it, He will surely bring us through it! I will definitely keep you held up in prayer and will add you to my church home's prayer list. So rejoice in knowing you will have a multitude of God's children lifting you up in prayer for a positive outcome. We all know He is able and has "ALL" power. At this very moment I pray: "Dear Lord God, our heavenly Father, You know all about her and what she needs heavenly Father. I pray that you touch heal and deliver your child in the areas she has requested. I pray these things in Jesus name, Amen! May God be with you and continue to shelter you with His everlasting love, now, forever and always. Know that He is able!

God Bless!

Tonya,

One of my favorite heros of the faith, St Francis of Assisi once said, "preach the Gospel always and when necessary use words. " My prayer is that I will be a witness to my doctors my family and the other members of the medical staff as He walks with me through this.Of course, I do believe for a total healing. Thank you and your church family for their prayers.
